Entry Terms Registry entry

Specify which columns use the Thesaurus and what their entry terms are.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

Value term:acronym;term:acronym;...

where:

column

is the name of the affected column.

term:acronym;term:acronym;....

is a semicolon separated list of term and acronym pairs (separated by a colon).

Each pair defines an entry point into a particular Thesaurus. This means that valid terms for selection from a Thesaurus for the specified column are defined to be the term itself and any term in its sub-tree.

If no term:acronym pairs are defined, any term from the Thesaurus is valid for the column.

Note: This Registry entry is required for every column that does not wish to use the entire Thesaurus.

Examples

The column ArtArtworkMedium has two thesaural entry points. The first is from the term medium in AAT and the second is from the term medium in LCSH:
